Description
TwelveFold is Yuga Labs' first Bitcoin Ordinals collection: 300 generative art pieces inscribed directly onto satoshis, the smallest units of Bitcoin. Built as a base-12 art system localized around a 12x12 grid, it serves as a visual allegory for the cartography of data on the Bitcoin blockchain. Each piece blends highly rendered 3D elements with hand-drawn features, exploring the relationship between time, mathematics, and variability. The March 2023 auction generated 735 BTC (~$16.5M) across 3,246 bidders, making it one of the most culturally significant Ordinals launches to date.
