Privacy Policy

NXT Drop is a Web3 discovery platform operated from Québec, Canada. NXT Drop helps users discover upcoming NFT drops, verified projects, creators, collections and community content across multiple blockchains. NXT Drop aggregates project information submitted by creators together with public Web3 collection data retrieved from third-party providers.

NXT Drop is a discovery and informational platform. NXT Drop is not a financial intermediary, exchange, wallet provider, marketplace or trading platform.

Not all information described below is mandatory. You can choose what information to provide when you create or edit your account. Some information is required to use certain features (for example, a handle is required to post on the social feed or enter giveaways). Other information is optional.

2.1 Information You Provide

You may provide the following information when you create or edit your account, submit a project or use platform features:

• Account information — your email address and full name, collected by the authentication provider when you sign up.
• Profile information — your pseudonym (display name), unique handle, biography and a short profile note.
• Profile photo and banner — image you upload as your avatar, and an optional banner image or external banner video link (banner upload is reserved for verified, premium or administrator accounts).
• Social links — links to your external profiles (for example: X/Twitter, Discord, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, Farcaster, Lens, Mirror, Telegram, Zora, Sound.xyz, Base, marketplace, website and others).
• Optional wallet address — a blockchain wallet address you may add to your profile.
• Optional location fields — country, city and timezone, which you may add to your profile.
• Interests and badges — selected interest tags and custom badges.
• Projects submitted by creators — project name, description, blockchain, categories, artistic styles, custom tags, mint date, supply, floor price, contract address, project images, videos and external links.
• Comments — content you post in project comment sections.
• Social posts — content you post on the social feed (Pulse messages and Alpha Feed messages), including attached GIF references and project references.
• Favorites and followed creators — projects and creators you save or follow.
• Giveaway entries — depending on the giveaway configuration set by the creator, your wallet address, X/Twitter handle, email address, and a proof of engagement link.
• Mint reminders — your request to be reminded about an upcoming mint.
• Verification information — information you submit to request profile or project verification.
• Premium and Boost information — information related to paid boosts, Premium status and purchases you make through NXT Drop.
• Support messages — subject, category and message content when you contact our support team.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

The following information is collected automatically when you use the Service:

• Usage analytics — page views, sessions and general usage information collected through the analytics tools described in Section 8.
• IP address for fraud prevention — your IP address may be collected and stored when you enter a giveaway, for the sole purpose of detecting abusive or fraudulent behaviour on that giveaway.
• Device and browser information — basic device and browser characteristics (such as screen size, browser type, language) collected by the analytics tools described in Section 8.
• Local storage — NXT Drop may store small pieces of information in your browser's local storage, such as your last used filters. This information never leaves your device.

2.3 Information Collected by Service Providers

Some information may be processed directly by the third-party providers listed in Section 7, for example payment processors, the analytics provider and the authentication provider. NXT Drop may receive limited metadata from those providers (such as a payment confirmation or verification status) but does not receive sensitive payment card data.

Certain information you provide may be visible to other NXT Drop users. This may include:

• Your pseudonym (display name);
• Your handle;
• Your profile photo;
• Your biography and profile note;
• Your social links;
• Location fields you have added (country, city, timezone);
• Badges and verification status;
• Projects you have submitted that have been published;
• Comments you post on project pages;
• Posts you publish on the public social feed (Pulse and Alpha Feed);
• Follower and following information where you have enabled its public display.

Your email address is not displayed publicly. Display names, comments and other public content may be visible to anyone viewing the relevant project page, profile page or social feed. Be mindful of the information you choose to make public.

NXT Drop uses the information we collect to:

• Operate your account and authenticate you on the Service;
• Display your profile, projects and public content;
• Enable discovery of projects, drops, creators and collections;
• Allow creators to submit and manage projects;
• Enable favorites and followed creators;
• Provide social features such as comments, posts and follows;
• Allow giveaway participation and entry management;
• Send mint reminders and in-app notifications;
• Process verification requests and show verification status;
• Provide Premium access and Boost features;
• Provide creator analytics and insights;
• Prevent fraud and abusive behaviour on giveaways;
• Assist with security and content moderation;
• Respond to support requests;
• Improve the Service and perform product analytics.

NXT Drop allows creators to list giveaways and allows users to enter those giveaways through the Platform. The following applies to giveaways:

• Users may enter giveaways listed through NXT Drop subject to the configuration set by each creator.
• Entry information may include a wallet address, X/Twitter handle, email address, or a proof of engagement link, depending on the configuration of each giveaway.
• An IP address may be collected for giveaway fraud prevention, to help prevent the same person from entering the same giveaway multiple times.
• Creators hosting a giveaway may access the giveaway entries submitted to their own giveaway.
• NXT Drop does not require a payment to enter a giveaway.
• NXT Drop does not distribute financial rewards, tokens or NFTs directly. The distribution of any reward associated with a giveaway is handled by the creator of the giveaway, not by NXT Drop.

Information you provide when entering a giveaway is shared with the creator of that giveaway for the purpose of running it. You should review the giveaway instructions and any terms provided by the creator before entering.

On the web version of NXT Drop, certain digital purchases — such as visibility Boosts and the Premium subscription — are processed through Stripe. NXT Drop does not store full payment card numbers. Payment card data is handled by the payment processor, not by NXT Drop.

On supported Android versions of the Service, subscription purchases may be processed through Google Play Billing and managed through RevenueCat. Google Play Billing availability is subject to the capabilities of each release; NXT Drop does not represent that any specific Android purchase is live until it is actually available on the device.

Payment and subscription providers may process:

• Your account identifier used by the provider;
• Purchase information such as product identifier and amount;
• Transaction information such as order or transaction reference;
• Entitlement or subscription status used to enable Premium or Boost features.

NXT Drop may receive a confirmation, transaction reference or entitlement status from these providers in order to enable the corresponding feature. NXT Drop does not receive or store your full card number.

NXT Drop relies on the following categories of third-party providers:

• Base44 — core backend services, hosting, authentication and database infrastructure for NXT Drop.
• Stripe — payment processing for certain digital purchases on the web version of NXT Drop.
• RevenueCat — subscription and entitlement management, used together with Google Play Billing on supported Android versions.
• Google Play Billing, where applicable — in-app purchase processing on supported Android versions.
• Google Analytics — product analytics and usage measurement (see Section 8).
• Google reCAPTCHA — abuse prevention, in particular on giveaway entry forms.
• Giphy — search and trending GIF results used when composing messages on the social feed.
• OpenSea — retrieval of public Web3/NFT collection data for discovery purposes. NXT Drop sends API requests to OpenSea; OpenSea is not used to send your account data.
• Moralis — retrieval of public Web3 collection data across multiple blockchains. Moralis is used to retrieve public project data, not to send your account data.
• Email delivery provider — used through Base44 to send transactional messages such as mint reminders, notifications and support replies to users of the Service.
• AI service providers — used through Base44 integrations to assist with project and profile security analysis, moderation and creator insights (see Section 9).

Each third-party provider has its own privacy practices. NXT Drop does not control how these providers process information once it has been transmitted to them, and their handling of information is subject to their respective privacy policies.

NXT Drop uses Google Analytics to measure how the Service is used. Categories of information that may be processed by Google Analytics include:

• Page views and sessions;
• Device and browser information;
• General usage information;
• Technical information related to the IP address according to Google's own processing and configuration (which may include IP truncation/anonymization depending on the configuration).

NXT Drop does not make a specific representation regarding the exact degree of IP anonymization applied by Google Analytics. For more information about how Google Analytics processes information, please refer to Google's privacy and advertising documentation.

NXT Drop may also collect limited, anonymized internal usage events for product improvement.

NXT Drop may use automated analysis tools, including AI-assisted services accessed through Base44 integrations, to:

• Assist with the security analysis of submitted projects and profiles;
• Help with content moderation and risk assessment;
• Provide creator insights or performance analysis.

In connection with these features, relevant profile, project or content information may be processed by third-party AI service providers. NXT Drop does not commit to a specific named AI provider in this Policy, because the underlying provider may change over time as part of the Base44 integrations.

Automated analysis is decision-support only. Decisions affecting your account (for example, profile flagging quarantine or removal) remain subject to NXT Drop moderation.

NXT Drop may share information in the following situations:

• Service providers — information may be shared with the third-party providers listed in Section 7 for the purposes described in each case.
• Creator access to giveaway entries — entries submitted for a creator-hosted giveaway may be accessible to the creator of that giveaway for the purpose of running it.
• Public user-generated content — content you choose to publish publicly (profile, projects, comments, social feed posts) is visible to other users of the Service.
• Legal, security and safety — where NXT Drop reasonably believes it is necessary to comply with applicable law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect the rights, property or safety of NXT Drop, its users or the public, or to investigate or prevent fraud and abuse.

Based on the practices found in the current codebase, NXT Drop does not sell your personal information. If this were to change, this Privacy Policy would be updated accordingly and the Last Updated date revised.

NXT Drop uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, including:

• Encrypted transmission over HTTPS for communications between your device and the platform;
• Access controls and row-level permissions restricting which users and accounts can read or modify data;
• Backend-only privileged operations for sensitive actions, such as account management and entitlement processing;
• Abuse-prevention mechanisms such as reCAPTCHA on giveaway entry forms;
• Fraud prevention including IP-based duplicate entry detection for giveaways;
• Moderation and security analysis for profiles and projects.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. NXT Drop cannot guarantee absolute security of information.

NXT Drop retains information for as long as your account is active and for as long as necessary to provide the Service. When you delete your account, some information is deleted or anonymized as described in Section 13.

Certain information may be retained where it is necessary to do so, including for the following reasons:

• Financial and transaction records relating to purchases and entitlements;
• Security and fraud-prevention records;
• Records kept to comply with applicable legal obligations;
• Audit history of account-deletion and moderation actions;
• Records kept to investigate or resolve disputes.

NXT Drop does not commit to a specific retention period for each retained category of information, since the appropriate period depends on the nature of the information and the legal or operational reason for retaining it.

Account deletion may include a short grace period before processing, during which the request can be cancelled or postponed.

You can request the deletion of your account from within the app. The deletion flow is available in your profile settings under Edit Profile.

When your account deletion is processed:

• Many linked records are deleted, including your submitted projects, favorites, follows, comments, notifications, reminders, social reactions, your boost wallet and other account-related data;
• Profile information that identifies you is anonymized or removed (for example, your pseudonym, handle, biography, avatar, social links, location fields and wallet address);
• Some records may be retained where required for legal, financial, fraud-prevention, security, moderation or audit reasons. This may include records related to purchases and entitlements, public social content previously published by you, support messages, audit records and account-deletion request records.

Continued public visibility of certain content you previously published (for example, social feed posts) is not guaranteed to be removed automatically upon deletion. If you want specific public content removed, please include the relevant details in your deletion request.

Account Deletion Requests

If you cannot access the app, you can submit a public Account Deletion Request on the web:Request account deletion on the web. Identity verification may be required before deletion is processed.

If you can access the app, request deletion from your profile settings (Edit Profile). You can also request deletion by emailing us at nxt.helpcenter@gmail.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and your account handle or the email address associated with your account. After verifying your identity, NXT Drop will process the request from our side.

NXT Drop is not designed for children below the minimum age permitted to use online services in their jurisdiction. NXT Drop does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children through the Service. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through NXT Drop, please contact us using the mechanism provided in the Contact section.

NXT Drop is operated from Québec, Canada and may be used by users in different jurisdictions. Information you provide may be processed by NXT Drop and by the third-party providers listed in Section 7, some of which may be located outside of your country of residence. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.

NXT Drop does not make specific representations in this Policy regarding compliance with particular privacy frameworks (such as GDPR or CCPA). If you wish to exercise any right available to you under applicable law, please contact us as described in Section 17.

NXT Drop may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the Last Updated date at the top of this page will be revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Service after a change indicates your acknowledgement of the updated Privacy Policy.
